there is a melody which is the first known written piece of music
it is gosh, eight hundred years old, last year, (I play the clarinet) I played an overture on that...
i have to say 800 years is a pretty good lifetime for an earworm...
there are many other classical pieces which will last for ever
Dvorak's New World Symphony
Beethoven's Ode to Joy
things like that.

I have about 4 or 5 versions of a little known song called Rocket 88. It keeps getting redone. My favorite is Rockin Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu. I think Jerry Lee did it but I also have it by Aerosmith. I do think "Satisfaction" will be around forever, I hear it all the time. Tell the people that said some classical music that a song has words. They could at least have said some opera tittle like Verdi, that stuff has been around forever. I least I picked stuff you can listen to.
