im 12,,& i dont wear make-up..but i've had a few bf's before..but like other girls have to try wayyyyy to hard to make a guy like them,,i just don't get it..helpppppp;)

Don't judge other girls and assume the only reason they're wearing makeup is to get guys! Girls your age are doing things that adults do, and adult women wear makeup. Sometimes it has something to do with guys, but usually wearing makeup and getting used to it is just part of growing up to be a woman. Maybe you are too young to understand. There is nothing wrong with wearing makeup, OR trying to get a guy, though, so guard against your instinct to be self-righteous, and accept that different people have different ways of approaching femininity.

I don't wear makeup and I'm 19, some woman just don't feel the need to get all gussied up for a guy and there is nothing wrong with that, I still am baffled as to why women wear so much makeup! now everyone is into this whole natural makeup thing, why not just actually be natrual....you know not painting your face on every morning.

peer pressure and that's the message girls get from the media. Just watch any ad. on tv or in magazines, etc. and you'll find that the girls look thin and beautiful, as if they're supposed to impress the men and be attractive to them. If you want to learn more on this you should watch the documentary "Killing Us Softly."

girls don't have to wear make up, in fact alot of times it's a turn off and just makes them look really fake... the answer is, the more make up a girl is wearing the less secure they are with themselves

Some girls dont feel comfortable about them selves so cover up with makeup. Some do it becase they like it and thats just them

just like other animals, humans have to embellish themselves to be attractive. it is basic nature. so dont diss the girls who wear make up. at leats they can afford to buy some.
however, natural beauty (or at least natural lookin beauty) is still the best.
moral lesson: invest more on god brand toiletries. and once urepretty enough, u can use make up. haha!

i dont know im 12 too and i see these other girls wearing a heck of a lot of make -up
they say it makes them look prettier but it doesnt really sometimes if they over do it it looksss rrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeallly stupiddddddddddd!!!!!

cuz girls are self contious..they care what people think of them so much its not even funny! they dont want to look bad cuz theres a chance the guy wont like them..this is cuz guys care what gurls look like..so if guys care then the gurls are gonna care to! ya kno

They don't have to. They should just try to be themselves, and maybe even go a day without make-up. It won't kill them.
