I am working on a project for a customer who wishes to produce a cd that he can send out to potential customers..he wants to video tape his machine on the job site. I will download it into my computer (if I can figure out how) then we will dub in the audio part. I don't have a dvd burner so we decided to try the cd burner. I know that I can burn the video, just not sure what I need to do to dub in the audio..do I need a special program or can I do it in windows media or a like program? We are trying to get out of this cheap and I figured someone out there would have an answer. I'm not sure what kind of camera he is working with, but I'm using a Compaq Presario with 3400+ AMD Sempron Processor, 256 MB memory, 100 GB hard drive and a cd-rw/dvd-rom. I don't know if any of this info would matter to anyone or not.

Windows media player will work I would upgrade your memory to at least 1Gig that will be a must depending on your camcorder you prabably need a Firewire card but check with the manufacture of the camcorder before doing this.

last but least if this is a computer your going to camcord then I would suggest not wasting your time. The screen will be choppy and there are programs out on the net that can do what you want to do for free. Adobe has one call captivate its a free download and a 30 day trial and will do everything and then some for the computer screen record.

This is a good question. And I have been sitting here for a minute trying to figure out how to reply to it. Although I do not know the answer, I am going to look over the net, and do a search on Google, and Yahoo, and other sites and try to find out. I wish I knew what the answer was because I think a question like this deserves the answer. I am wonder how many other people would benefit from the answer. I am glad you asked this question, as it has really got me thinking............. thanks again!!!

PS, this question reminds me of other questions I have seen in my lifetime, which I still have yet to come up worth an answer. Maybe you might know the answer to them............

1.If you cut one head off of a two headed man, have you decapitated him?
2.What is the maximum height of a short man?
3. When does a fertilized egg develop into a person?

you want a DVD burner on your laptop to attempt this and a DVD that has sufficient space for the action picture. First receive the action picture of your decision (submit to in innovations the position you saved it). next get a video converter and convert to MPEG4 (that's compatible with DVD). Get your DVD and positioned it in the CDpersistent. Now bypass decrease back to the action picture document, it is going to say burn on the best. only, click burn and there you bypass. wish i helped:)
