I've tried to copy the fonts in Microsoft Word. I want my handwriting to be exactly like English111 Vivace BT. If I can't write like that, I want to write like the font TypeUpright, but at the very least it has to be like Monotype Corsiva or else...well anyways, English111 Vivace BT's my goal for hanwriting. How do I learn to draw every one of their letters exactly like the fon'ts? Any tips?

I really don't like speechlessneanderthal's answer. I can spell very well; actually, I am the best in my class! I have OK handwriting but I want to make it like calligraphy. What's wrong with that? It'll look more pleasing to the eye anyway.

"Trying to understand what you say that COUNT..." Learn grammar first, especially noun/verb agreement, and then lecture me about spelling, you neanderthal.

For me it was a matter of just deciding to write beautifully. The girl across the aisle from me in 6th grade had exquisite handwriting and I was determined to have the best handwriting I could have. Every time I saw a sample of someones writing that I loved, I practiced it until I got it down. So my handwriting today is a combination of many peoples handwritings. I still change the way I make a letter from time to time when something catches my fancy.
It sounds to me like you have already made the decision to develop a beautiful style in your writing. The next step is to just practice it over and over until it feels natural to write like that.
Have fun with it and make it a lifelong endeavor.

You can't copy a computer's font in order to get good penmanship. Everyone has their own special way of writing. The best way is to practice more and more using script. If you want the writing to look really good, then think about what you think looks pretty. Figure out how it would work with all the other letters. Don't forget to practice and don't get discouraged. Write slowly and think of it as something fun and not as anything difficult.
Good luck. =D

I took a calligraphy class and it changed my writing. It helps to have lots of practice as well as the right pen in the beginning to get the strokes right. Learning how to write exactly like English111 Vivance BT will take time. It is important that you learn to correctly learn how to form the letters. Once you are in the habit of forming the letters correctly the words will flow. You can achieve your goal.

First of all...learn how to spell words right. Penmanship is the last thing cultured and educated people pay attention to....you may have seen those attached files on your emails that irregardless of how the words are spelled...that the mind or the human brain can decipher them...rubbish.. It's the content of your written message and how laymen understand what you are trying to say that count...be yourself...remember...your handwriting is just like your "finger prints"...it's the most accurate definition of you. Make sure it's readable though...

Type every letter of the alphabet (Upper and Lower cases) in a font size that you would normally be able to write in. Print them off and put them on a light board (or tape them to a window if you don't have a light board) then lay another piece of paper over the printed copy and trace it over and over until you have perfected it. Practice makes perfect. Good luck to you.

You have to keep practicing. Do one letter 10 times until you've gone through the whole alphabet three times. You should see definite improvement.

print out the entire alphabet in capital and lower case of the letter you wan't and do it till you like it. But it'd always best to have your own handwriting. Good luck sweetie :)!

Write a damn lot by hand.
Practice different ways of writing, i.e. position of fingers, position of writing utensil etc.
