If someone's wearing eyeglasses...other's first impression are they are nerds(likeme! ) What do I do to make them stop teasing me? I need HELP!!!

I dont wear glasses but love them. I'm attracted to guys in them and think they make you look smart. If they make you feel like a nerd-maybe you should try contacts.I'd personally enjoy it and buy a designer pair to make me feel better about them. I hope you enjoy being a nerd(you should-were an exclusive club) as for the teasers-tell them you need the glasses to find their sense of humor-brain-privates-take a pick

Realize that when you are all adults that they will still be immature losers and you will still be a smart woman with an incredible life and even better future! Embrace yourself and your individuality.
The people teasing you are having their life peak right now. It is a very short peak and a very fast and miserable slide down the other side.
You are one of the good ones who peak slowly, gracefully, and beautifully. Your peak will last for SOOOOOOOOO much longer and the slide down will be gentle and graceful.

get some really cute, awesome glasses and be proud of them.
I know people who wear glasses with glass in them just for looks....now THAT blew my mind. Cause I've been wearing glasses since the sixth grade. But I have cool glasses that darken when in the sun, thereby making you look even cooler, cause now they're not glasses, they're shades. Yeah Baby.

Are you kidding me? Are they in middle school? Well, that may be so...sorry. But even so, that is really lame. Tell them to bug off! You can't help that you need glasses. At least you aren't the stupid kid swinting in the back of the classroom that refuses to admit that he needs glasses.

I had the same problem when I first got glasses. They will get tired of making fun of you and will accept it. Just wait it out.
