I'm at work and it's slow - that is why I'm alone on my computer on a Saturday night. I have a friend coming over to visit later this evening.

I'm a homebody by nature, but all my friends that I used to go out with have kids and jobs that don't allow them to stay up late and party anymore and dont throw parties nearly as often anymore.

Nothing wrong with me - would just rather stay home when there are no plans with friends and save money as opposed to going out and spending it.

I'm a 40 hr. worker, and the only days that I've to be in the computer are mostly on weekends, so I'm not alone on Saturday night. I do have friends, and places to go, but sometimes is better of to be home using your time more wisely.

well a couple of reasons.
Me personally work every other weekend so I am actually sitting in my office pretending to work hard but am actually answering these questions online!
Another possibility for you may be that you are tired of the rediculousness that goes with going out on a sat night. Maybe your passed the dating thing and have someone or just tonight you dont feel like it. Either way you are much cooler for being on here than you would be if you were out tonight! :-)

I prefer being on the computer to going out. Why does that mean there's something wrong? Not everybody likes to be social all the time.

God I wish I knew. I guess maybe some of us just don't like that social scene, perhaps we like our alone time. Sometimes I think lonlieness just draws us in because it is easier than the pain of rejection. Other times I just think maybe I revel in being alone. I think that it all depends on the person.

we are trying to help or understand a tiny portion of our life. i'd rather ask and or answer questions with people who choose to not get drunk with a bunch of horny people who smoke a bunch of ciggys to be cool. not saying i'm not horny, but i'd rather have control over my hormones and not let alcohol dictate to me who my future baby mama is gonna be. all the while finding out that there are a bunch of very cool, real people out here who care about things other than alcohol and lies/drama. PEACE

we don't have a life, or else we wouldn't be here.
OR look at it this way, we are staying home, keeping our money instead of out blowing what we do have on bs thats not gonna last but just a little while ie; drinking...
