noo. i think it super slow as well! i have the same problem! i hate itttt...but i guess its worth it in the end with all of the music...but i hate how sometimes it doesnt download so you cant have that song...does that ever happen to you?

your security is blocking it or your network is. try the limewire FAQ on the website. mine was doing that to for a while till i went there and fixed it.

Well I have LimeWire and it is fast, SO maybe it is just u or your computer or somthing i dont know!!! Maybe your compter dosent have fast enough memory or somthing!!!

Try limit the upload slots to 1 in order to download anything faster.

its your computer ...that can slow .. with dile up it can tale very long .. cable is fast dsl .and others .. make sure you have 9 chat rooms open at one time ..that makes it all slown down ,, clean out your pc
