Why are you such an idiot?? What gives you the right to assume that all English football fans are idiots?? I'm a England fan, but certainly not an idiot. Don't you just hate generalisation's....

The Germans, (particularly the former East Germans), have a history of football violence. In the past, when there's been lack of a suitable target they've consistently fought among themselves!
Many many other nations have problems with the hooliganistic behaviour of their fans. A Colombian KILLED a player for scoring an own goal. The problem is worldwide. England fans are mere pussycats by comparison.

A couple of events where American (non idiots/hooligans) enjoyed their sport
A victory celebration in Detroit after the 1990 NBA Finals degenerated into a riot that left 7 dead.
Three people died in Chicago after the Chicago Bulls won the 1993 NBA championship.
I can clearly see that US is a hooligan free zone.

That's a bit old fashioned. English fans have calmed down a bit now. Saying that, i've seen the way some "Chavers" act around the streets in small groups so it's obvious what'd happen in large groups.

Go invade another country for oil, England fans aren't Idiots, in the world cup we have had the least arrest so for and as for the little scuffle last nite i blame the german police as they didnt have to get so heavy handed and there wouldnt of been so much trouble

It's not fair to say that they're ALL idiots. But there are some who get totally wrecked, cannot stand up straight and start fights and then ruin it for everyone else. I say lock the troublemakers up and don't let them watch the England matches.

I was watching the news earlier about the fights in germany. I think its bloody appaling, there was a little scared girl on her daddys shoulders in the middle of it, she looked petrified. I think all football hooligans, british or otherwise are the worst scum of the earth, fighting over a GAME?
Im british and i love sports, i hold a season ticket for my local football team and plan to take my little girl when shes older. Think of the other things going on in this world, and your fighting over a GAME? You sad sad mother fuckers.

To be fair to the English fans (not something you regularly hear from a Scot) it is very much the minority of fans who disgrace England on a regular basis.

Have you ever actually 'been away' with England?
I suppose we started all the trouble in the European championships also?
If people start 'pelting' you with bottles and shooting fireworks at you (and the police do nothing)... what would you do?
Start using your brain and stop believing the media (even the German police, have been singing our praises)!!!
