Hey, thanks for selecting me as the best answer on the fair tax question! :-) I had no other way of contacting you to thank me.

To answer your question, I live in Winslow, Maine and I have been to both Maui, Hawaii; and Anchorage, Alaska. Not sure which is a longer distance!

:-) They were equally beautiful but I had a much better time in Hawaii.

In the U.S, I currently live in Lancaster, CA and my farthest is Mammoth Lakes, CA in the Sierra Mountains. I've been there in February for 2 nights 'cause I think it was a holiday, maybe President's Day or Lincoln's Birthday. We never caught that city snowing but we saw remains of snow on the road and the mountains. Probably the next visit to Mammoth Lakes will be the end of the year when we should see snow falling heavily.

I just moved to Atlanta, GA from Washington, D.C. I'm in the Navy so I go pretty much all over the world but I guess the place I liked the most would have to be Thailand. I love everything about this country. The culture, the food, the people, the beauty of the land. It's really an amazing place. If you ever get the chance to go there don't hesitate.

I live in the Seattle Washington area and have been to Egypt and on Safari in Kenya! 22 hours in a plane was not fun as I HATE to fly! We had a 8 hour stopover in London, YUCK so gray and dirty. But the Safari was so fun, but the expense won't have me doing it again. I saved a 12 year old boys life while in Cairo Egypt so I guess that trip was "meant to be"! My next trip is going to be to Southern Mexico to see the Maya and Inca pyramids, and a Cruise to the Western Caribbean!

I was born in North Carolina, grew up in New York, and now live in Montana (my husbands family lives in Texas, so I spend time there, too). The farthest I have been is Trinidad, but I plan to go to Europe next year.

Farthest I guess would be the Philippine islands,
but I have been to most of Europe, and also to
China, Japan, Diego Garcia, Hawaii, Alaska, California, Virginia, Maryland, DC, and many other places.

I spent 20 years in the Navy

I live in the middle of Wyoming, so the farthest I've been from this point is Alaska, I think. I'd have to look. It might be Florida...

I live in Northern California (Oakland).

Farthest I've ever been from here? Maybe back when I was an east coast kid, and lived in Maryland, Tennessee & Georgia.
