Around that time your uterus is going to start dropping and pressing on nerves and causing lots of pressure. Around 34-35 weeks you will notice the difference. If you are not bleeding, having a pink, brown or bloody show when you wipe and you are not leaking fluid...take a deep breath. You can always call your doctor for reassurance. For the next few weeks you will be uncomfortable, there will be massive pressure on your bladder and back. If you are having lots of pressure and contractions, time them. If they are coming 10-15 minutes apart regularly for an hour or more, call the dr. Your vagina will be sore, its just changing shape to prepare for labor. Pregnancy is not pain free for 40 weeks and then push the baby out. Your body is going through LOTS of changes and there is still streching going on and nerves in the way. You should start noticing your belly drop soon and that is what all the pain is from...stretching and dropping. There are days when no matter how you sit, stand or lay you can't get any relief. Just remember to breathe. Now is a good time to start practicing your breathing for labor. Dont hyperventilate and get your heart racing. Just remember, pain is all apart of this miracle of life. But like someone else said, its more than likely the round ligament pain.

Don't freak out. These are all normal feelings and sensations. We all go through it and especially first time moms have the paranoia. Ive been there and this is my first and i'll be a single mom. Im 38 weeks and Im ready to get this kid out of me. Take a deep breath and call your doctor if you are really worried. They may have you come in just to ease your anxiety and to check that everything is alright. Mom is always a good resource to calm you down too. She'll tell you all of the pains she had when she was pregnant with you.

Just wait a few more weeks, you will start to feel more pressure, contractions and more pain. Sometimes the baby will push down on your pubic bone or the head is putting so much pressure on your cervix it will feel like you are about to deliver any time. There are times you feel sudden pressure and it feels like your water could break at that second...and you are hoping and praying it will...but, then it stops and you just have to wait. The last month is the longest....praying for an early delivery.

I am sorry you are having a rough time. I am also pregnant -- just a couple weeks behind you and I am eperiencing the same thing. The doctor explained it as ligaments tha tsupport the uterus. They can strain and become painful as the baby grows -- especially around this time. Since those ligaments are what support the baby, it is important to baby yourself and take it VERY easy. Not doing so could increase the chance of the amniotic sac pulling away from the uterine wall -- which is what happened to me.

But don't worry, there are a couple things you can do. First, if you are cramping, leaking fluid or bleeding, go straigt to labor and delivery. If not, rest, drink tons of water and call your doctor as soon as he is in the office. Explain to him what is going on. He can do an ultra sound to make sure the baby is in place and your fluid level is good. He can also do a fetal fiberactin (sp?) to make sure you are not in preterm labor.

If you have ANY misgivings or further worries, CALL the doc on call. You have to go with your gut feelings on this. Best of luck to you!

You need to call your doctor ASAP!! You might have to be put on bed rest for the remainder of your pregnancy. When your pregnant the best thing to go by is your doctor's advice and your natural instinct. If you feel like you should be worried then don't waste your time on here asking the question... talk to your doctor. You will know in your gut if there is something to worry about. In the meantime take a long bath and get some rest! If you have anyone to help you in this pregnancy, have them get up and get things for you, this is the only time you can use the "I'm pregnant please do it for me" excuse, lol. Take advantage of it becuase you are the beautiful woman caring the baby and making sure the baby inside you gets everything it needs to be born healthy. Please take it easy and CALL YOUR DOCTOR!!!

It could be round ligament pain. I had that when I was pregnant too, especially nearing the end. You can look it up on the internet. Either way, you never want to mess around with pregnancy pain. Call your doctor. I am just telling you this because most likely that's what it is, and if so, nothing to worry about!!. Congratulations!

Why don't you call your DR..why do you stupid people post these questions on here regarding the health of your child/ you? The time it took you to log on to your computer, type your question; you should have been picking up the phone to call your Dr..It's possible you may be in labor..But hey..I'm no Dr..So call your Dr..
Let's see..my baby's hands& feet are sticking out of my vagina what do I do?
Stupid people like you shouldn't be allowed to breed kids!

Good luck!

Why in the world would you go to Yahoo Answers to ask such a question? If you really are in such a situation it is something between you and your doctor.

It's probably just how the baby is laying. Try massaging that part of your body. If the baby moves & it feels better, don't worry. If not, please call your doctor - day or night!

Call your doctor right away. Why on earth are you asking total strangers. There could be serious problems, call your dr or 911 if its that severe.
