If the turf is prepared correctly, it won't hurt. Besides, real grass requires too much maintenance.

In Germany at the World Cup it's all REAL grass, teher's no artificial turf. (PERIOD)

I think it is real grass,

and if its not its because slide tackles would mess it up really bad
