I want to download some ringtones onto my new phone, but everytime I go to a website that says FREE RINGTONES, you read the small print and you have to pay about $9.99 a month in order to get them. Does anyone know where to go to get them without paying this monthly fee? They sure aren't free if you have to pay a monthly fee for them, at least I don't think so.

Go to this site:
http://www.virtualvermont.com/sw/freeringtones.html

Its free, but you have to probably still pay some fees to your cell company for doing downloads to your phone.

You can make your own ringtones for free!

First of all, you go to any ringtone site, but usually they don't have exactly what you want, or only part of a song, and it's not your favorite part, so you have to settle. That sucks!

1. MAKE YOUR OWN RINGTONE
Go to http://www.tucows.com/preview/502368... and download the ringtone maker. Also, just about any MP3 editing sotware will work. Remember, the smaller the file, the cheaper it will be to upload it!

2. POST YOUR NEW MP3
Post your new MP3 to a website, such as your yahoo page. Right click and find the url for that mp3. It should end with ".mp3".

3. GET YOUR RING
Go to that url with your phone. It will automatically download that ring.

4. YOUR DONE
That's it, no more steps.
