Here's a cool gizmo, check out the link. Also most hardware stores sell inexpensive spring loaded type traps that fit into the holes that work well. Poison bate is another option.

Basically you wanna use a granular form of castor oil, starting closest to your property, house, etc... and gradually working themn away from your property. Hey, everything I've heard from him has always worked best.
