I think that they're the best team in the WC but many people on the web and in chat rooms feel that they receive more respect then they deserve. what do you think?

I think Brazil is a little bit overrated. Sure they've won 5 world cups and their players are the most famous and highest-payed anywhere in the world, but that doesn't make them undefeatable. Didn't they struggle against Australia? How about against Croatia? Let's not mention that great goal by Japan. Besides, up until now Spain, England and Germany have had better or equal performances than Brazil's in the world cup. So yeah, they are overrated.

Why is it that every time people don't give Brazil a 110% glowing report every single time they take the field, are they accused of hating on Brazil or being jealous. Brazil are a great football side with tons of skill, but at times throughout the tournament have not played to expectation. That is a simple fact. Many sides have come to the attention of fans, sides that were lowly rated or not expected to put up any kind of credible performance. People are just appreciating other performances also and to be honest some have been a little better. It's not a matter of hating on Brazil, it's simply that so far they have not been the only ones to emerge as a credible challenger and people are voicing that opinion.

Brazil is definitely not overrated. They had a tougher group than expected and they'll have their hands full with a Ghanian team that has nothing to lose against them. This Brazilian team is just starting to hit their stride, and, though Ghana will give them a tough game, they should win 3-1. From there, they'll probably play Spain and then Portugal, and both of those games will be difficult but they should prevail.
One thing is for sure: if Brazil wins this World Cup, NO ONE will be able to say they are overrated, because they will not have had an easy match (save maybe against Japan) in their run towards their sixth trophy.

They are jealous!
Listen Brazil is NEVER as good this WC as they were last one. NEVER! NEVER! The boo-birds and the whiners and the poisonously envious just love to harp and natter about how THIS time Brazil is sure to lose to the Moldovian People's Republic, the island of Vanuatu, Monaco, Outer Mongolia or Ghana or whatever!
Then when they hoist the Cup once again, its all "well I told you so," and "who could beat them with all that talent?" "well it was totally expected, wasn't it?"
Then four years down the road in South Africa all you'll hear after they start 3-0 once again is.. "oh , its not the same Brazil which won all those cups," "they are playing so badly," "they just don't have IT any more," "oh, I'm quite sure that Panama (or Wales, Iceland, Latvia, Turkmenistan, Kuwait or Singapore) will take them out with ease......" blah, blah, blah, yadda, yadda, wheedie, wheedie, wheedie. When you're my age you'll be just so sick and tired of hearing it.....
Brazil is BRAZIL and don't you ever forget it. a feather weight like Ghana will take them out when pigs can fly and NOT before!

Brazil is the best team in the world cup but I think Portugal will play hard against the Brazilians in the Semifinal. The posers are just jelous of the mighty Brasileiros

there are not overated its like it is in any sport when u r number 1 the target is on you. when some teams play brazil that aren't nowhere near as good as they are they go into a virtual 10-0-0 form (10 defenders,0 midfielders or strikers) and hope to score on a counterattack

Yes, Brazil is overrated, onereason everyone is scared to play them is because of Ronaldinho
In their first game against Croatia, they beat them 1-0 in my oppinion Crotia should have won, they had better opportunities
So, yes Brazil is overated

They're the best team with the best players, but they didn't seem to have the intensity until Japan scored on them. Maybe they're awake now, I don't know. I'm guessing they'll get knocked out either by Spain or Italy.

Yes brazil is a really talented team, but most people think they can't be defeated. So i guess you can say they are overrated

They are overratted my opinion.
Football is 50-50 (approx) game of possession, but Brazil is not very good without the ball.
However they continue to win, so you can't argue with success.
