Actually, #3 is more specifically an oxidation- reduction (redox) reaction.

And catalysts are not the only things that increase reaction rate. Increasing the temperature (for and exothermic rx), increasing the concentrations of reactants, and decreasing surface area can all accelerate chem rxs.
