Does anyone know of some good websites to look at for finding out what the real estate pricing trends have been in specific local areas over recent years?

Also, a good website to find out about how many homes are already rented in a given neighborhood would be great.

Yes, zillow.com shows maps of the neighborhoods with the pricing and estimates info.
