I think America is arrogant :\ sometimes the individuals, but mostly the nation as a whole. It gets kind of annoying when people sit there praising America as if it has no faults and all other nations have no merits. Thats what I hear around alot.. "America is the best and everything else sux" It gets kind of annoying sometimes.

If all countries around the world were like the United States, there would be no war, poverty, and the world would be a beautiful place. Why? This is a country of laws, and anybody could become whatever they choose to, even to be poor. The sky is the limit. That's why people die to come to America... and believe it or not, this this the warmest country in the world when it comes to inmigrants. It's a superior system of live, and that's why other people around the world think we are arrogants... because they wish they could have our system of government, and justice.

I don't even like myself.

You had me with pressures of ... melting pot. Then you brought up that canard about using more resources than the rest of the world.

We don't use resources. We create wealth.

Oh what a fascinating question. Unfortunately, the question is a thesis in itself. But yes, I do see my arrogant traits, although I don't think I have identified all of them... at least not yet.

If all countries were like the USA, we'd all be asphixiated 19 stone corpses, drowning in lard and gassed by Carbon monoxide

arrogant, ignorant, and a lot more.

but of course it isn't everyone. it's the chauvinists who are obsessed with being super patriotic. i imagine they hang out at churches, trying to make fun of immigrants, gay people, feminists, etc., comparing rifles, and feeling proud that america is so ridiculously militant.

Do you always refer to an entire nation of over 300,000,000 people in the singular? Simplifies the thinking process, doesn't it?
