If we're merely sick of it b/c we've been at it for too long, than wouldn't pulling out of Afghanistan, Yugo, S. Korea, Germany, Japan... be more appropriate first?

there were some during WWII that wanted to also ( we called them traitors back then) now you get called a bigot if you call them traitors.

It is all political, those that want to do it, would rather risk America be considered weak, or even allowing us to lose, so they can win thier political goals.

The only way to stop these terrorists acts world wide is to exterminate where the breeding grounds are and if that means more troops and more years of doing a job that most are too afraid to do then I will gladly defend our wonderful country. The Middle East is a hot bed for terrorism for the simple fact the the Koran states that anyone who is a non believer in Allah should be killed. That means everyone, not just Americans, but the only reason we are targeted, say more then the French is cause we are a threat to their terrorist ways that promote more of a dictatorship then a democratically elected government. Also the fact that France along with other countries have been beaten down into submission by these terrorists and are too afraid to speak out. They don't understand that if we(the entire world) don't do something now to stop them then there is a possibility that it could be another Holocaust.

Until the US admits it was really the oil they went into Iraq for there can't be a genuine rationale for pulling out. Unless of course the oil runs out, in which case the US would swiftly follow.

Bush can't leave now...
They're building 12 to 14 PERMANENT BASES
and a $1,000,000,000 Super Embassy
that's bigger than The Vatican.

He wants 50,000 troops there forever.

first we went for wmd's, then to spread democracy, now that they have a permanant government that is considering giving AMNESTY to former insurgents who have attacked us in the past, wouldn't a better question be why are we staying? what is our objective at this point? permanant bases, perhaps? just wondering.
