You remember, the Captain, played by Jack Wagner, cut the wire for the one trigger on the bomb. Then they found out that there was another timer and as long as the bomb was kept at a certain altitude, it wouldn't go off. They had to bring the plane in, so they moved all the passengers to the first class section and closed off the rest of the plane. They knew they only had about 3 min. to get everyone off the plane if and when the bomb went off. Just before they landed, a retired airplane pilot, played by James B. Sikking, went to the back of the plane and picked the box up. As he picked it up, the bomb went off. He put it in the chute that goes to the hold, and dies. That gave them more time to get the passengers off the plane. All the passengers and crew got off safely and a hazmat crew went in to clean it up.
