no you shouldn't i have afriend like that maybe he just wants you to say it try it you should hold his hand and 2weeks ago my friend was holding his hand and she kissed him and he liked and and there kissing holding hands and her phone keeps ringing and he loves her like a dog go for it might just work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
