They are definetly taking a weak nfc north who else would take it bears what a joke. the lions offense is going to flourish under martz and the whole new coaching staff will bring some much needed disclipline.

After being a Lions fan my whole life, I have officially decided I'm just not going to do that to myself anymore. There's just no reason to put myself through that.

Lions' upper management doesn't seem to have any clue how or desire to win. They keep making the same mistakes over and over again. It isn't all Millen's fault either - it's been going on a lot longer than he's been around.

I'm tired of hearing every pre-season about how things are going to be "different." A new QB is raised as the savior of the team and then when he can't single-handedly turn things around, he's run out of town. I've seen it happen over and over. Joey Harrington was the straw that broke the camel's back. I'm sick of it. I'm done.

Until they make the playoffs anyway. Wake me up when that happens, please.

I think that we definately get a huge upgrade with Martz at OC and the tough-nose philosophy of Marinelli. I hope to see better production out of Jones this year, as well as ANY other receiver than Roy Williams. My biggest concern is the defense, I think that they are lazy and do not want to work towards a common goal. Marinelli has some time, so hopefully they get their act together. I predict a 7-9 season as they run through Green Bay and Minnesota both meetings with wins coming against Jets, San Fran, and Buffalo.

No One should drink the Kool-Aide. 6-10 the bizarro off season hijacks with Mike Williams the illegal practices and such are just teasers. Remember "The Bar was High!" "Now it is Higher!" is allot of the same with this third M and M set.

I'm not going to predict anything about the Lions this year. Lion fans have been disappointed for so long it is not worth it to get worked up for another season.

Detroit will suck this year.

Just like every other year. Rebuilding since the year the franchise was started.

Lets just say they will have the number 1 pick in next years draft.

I'm extremely pessimistic...5-11 probably. Until we get rid of Millen, get new management, I'll be skeptical that we can ever make the playoffs (or even finish .500) again.

8-8 this year. I think we're going to be decent but not great. We're still in rebuilding mode. We need at least another 3-4 years to be contenders.

It is going to be a long season and it is not going to get better until Matt Millen gets fired.

I figure you will go 5-11 or best 6-10...I'm just not sold on that Offense...looks good on paper but doesn't cut it on the field.
