I think they should have a limited number of spots for Cup drivers in Busch series. A lot more Cup drivers are using Busch series to practice on because of the limited practice sessions. Also, it draws more people to a Busch race when there are popular Cup drivers there.
However, I don't think Cup drivers should be allowed to have the points when they are not full time drivers in Busch series. There are a lot of Busch drivers that are losing spots in the standings due to the Cup drivers coming in and finishing better. Look at the standings now in Busch series, the top 7 spots are held by Cup drivers. The Busch drivers need to make a living too, the Cup drivers are double dipping and to me that's not fair.
And lastly, I don't think you should be allowed to race for 2 championships. Look at Harvick, he's currently 7th in cup and 1st in Busch series.

Here's what I would do if it were up to me, cup drivers in the Busch series is not a bad thing, or it wasn't until this year. The cup guy's running the Busch races do sell tickets, they also give the up and coming guy's some experience running with the big boys.
Now it's ridiculous, the first non cup regular is in 6th in points, good job to Menard by the way, the new rule about no testing has lead the cup guy's to running the Busch races to get any data they can to help on Sundays.
What should be done is give each full time cup guy, (defined as if you have a signed contract to run the whole cup season you are a full time cup driver) say 5 races a year to run in Busch, that way they can still have ticket sales, and give these young guy's a shot at making it to the top.
but then that's just me, not the money hungry France family.

I have so many theories on this and can't really come up with one solid answer so here goes my rambling:
First, I am pretty tired of seeing them dominate. I mean, to say OMG Kevin Harvick has got a tremendous lead in this points series. Well, yeah, I would really hope so. I mean, it's like sayng OMG this 35 year old can really pummel the heck out of this kindergartner during wrestling. I mean, hello, you're talking a seasoned driver with a crapload of money in the team..so yeah, I would have to laugh if they didn't dominate. SO let's stop making a big deal about it.
I also agree with the theory that it's time to give these up and coming driver's a chance.
However, these Cup boys help bring in money to the Busch series. People want to rub elbows with the big boys, and will do so in any way they can. I think you woud seriously see the Busch series struggle if there wasn't the added money from having the Buschwhackers in it.
I also have this theory that if you can't run with the big boys Saturday night you aren't going to be able to do it Sunday afternoon either. Driving is either something you have or you don't. Now obviously you will get better as you learn more throughout the years, but wouldn't you be kind of thankful to get some practice with the boys you're going to be running against??
Now, with all of that being said.. I think it's time to stop letting them run for the championship. Fine let them win points, win races, and money..But that's where it should end. I mean, they can be listed as havin the most points, but the championship should be awared to the first Busch baby. Esp when you are talking about guys contending for the Cup championship. Busch champions make names for themselves, and well at the rate this year is going Kevin Harvick already has a name..so kind of pointless. Only exception to this theory is that of the rookies. I feel that in your first full rookie year in cup you should still be able to run the Busch series full time for everything, points, and championships..but then after that.. it should go to the other way.
There is the theory that we should limit who can run, how many can run..or whatnot. It woud be a good idea, but I can guarantee most car owners are going to throw in a Cup driver any day. I think it should kind of follow the theory of go or go home like they do in the Cup. The top X amount of cup drivers are allowed to run depending on their qual time, and the rest go home. So like say they set the number allowed to enter at 10 (b/c there aren't as many Busch drivers as their are cup..so 10 is a decent enough number that still allow Busch only to enter too) so anywho, if there are more than 10 cup drivers..then only the top 10 qualifiers of the cup driver's get to race.. no full time busch team should be knocked out b/c you have a cup driver who occasionally gets in the car. you have the ones that run it all the time, and then you have some who just go every now and then..
however, this would create a problem on incidents like this week in which the long haul that would have prevented the cup driver's from actuall doing the qualifying.
i have a feeling after enough becomes enough nascar will regulate something a bit..you're also getting to a point that driver's who drive for different owners are starting to wage what is more important (i/e tony stewart.. he has committments to joe gibbs and home depot.. is one or two races in the harvick old spice car for an occasaionaly busch race worth all of that??)

You can't compare the Busch Series to high school, that's insane. The cars are nearly identical except for engine power and a bit smaller. I'd compare it to the NHL and Olympics, one's just a bit more longer and more competitive (Olympics being the Nextel Cup).
The Busch Series should be a stomping grounds for younger drivers (Menard, Moore) and guys who just never had their "big break" (Lewis Jr, Keller)

I do not think that the Nascar drivers should be allowed to rae both races. I think that the Busch races are for the begginers, and they need time to get to race with the " Big Guys".

I think that they should be allowed to run a limited amount of races in Busch. Maybe three a year or so. How many championships would be different if the "Buschwackers" weren't running?

Absolutely not! These "buschwackers", or Nextel full-timers are stealing the young up-and-comers thunder. Cup regulars don't need to run these Busch races.

no. track time at the race should be the same for all drivers. running the bush race could be an advantage and allow the drivers to account for track changes in racing conditions. then use that on the cup cars.

Yeah, I find that a bit strange too. I think they should have to pick a level and stick with it. If they want to race in the Craftsman Truck Series though, I'm cool with that! At least it's different from their Nextel Cup car. Besides, how can you have your a-game on for 3 races in 1 weekend? One of them is bound to suffer.
