There are some prescription medicines you can get for migraines.
If the cause is neck tension, you could try lying down with a heating pad under the back of your neck. To tell the truth, sometimes this can make it hurt worse for a while, but if you can relax and get through that part it should help.

Sounds like a tension migraine. Have you tried taking some migraine medicine for it? (Which is specifically TARGETED for migraines!)
It'll say "Migraine PM" or some kind of store brand.
In most cases, you might want to try to reduce the stress level in your home by reducing the lighting, the amount of noise in your house, and take a nap.
Try to unwind by doing some light aerobics. Nothing strenous. Just something which will help improve the blood flow in your body.
Also, drink some hot chocolate. The chocolate itself has been proven to be medicinal in improving the body's circulatory blood flow.

How long has it been going on? Is it effecting your vision? Any history of migraines in your family? Is is sharp or dull? Constant or intermittent stabbing? Can you give more details as to the location, especially if it's deep inside your head or more towards the surface? How old are you? Any history of medical issues? Any allergies? Any recent traumatic events (blunt force or car accident)?

Yes - go for a manual one-time treatment called Atlasprofilax. The effect on the self-healing power of your body is simply amazing - own experience. :-)
Just - the treatment is available in California and Europe only, costing approx. 220 dollars. It's really worth travelling far.

have you tried to take a nap. Our bodies indicate different pain when we go through things. It sounds like maybe you are stressing. Try relaxing in a quiet area listen to soft music look at magazines. Maybe a walk also a great way to meet people.

take your right thumb and first finger and press hard on the fleshy part between the thumb and first finger of your left hand---keep pressing hard until headache goes away. Sounds silly but it works!!!!

Other than take some Exedrin, try massaging the back of your neck or have someone else do it.
