Eating them is designed by nature - God's plan - so I don't think its wrong.

Wearing them - was not in god's plan. Man created - and most of the thing we do outside god's plan is not right.
(you can read GOD as NATURE)

Which poor animals? The ones that are raised for that specific reason and couldn't survive if left to their own devices? Wearing them is another thing, like fur coats, I don't understand. Leather boots, coats, purses, etc. make perfect sense, I mean we kill the steer to eat it anyway, why not use as many parts as possible? Oh, and just in case you don't know, some plastics and most gelatin are made from horse and bovine hooves, so no ice cream for vegans and few man-made materials. Ultimately, yes we should kill the animals and eat them, its why they (domesticated farm animals and deer) are here. Not to mention, if we don't there will be problems with land availability over population, disease, and starvation among the animals and people. Oh, and did I mention that these animals don't have enough, if any, natural predators, especially in the US.

Let's see, um, yes, yes we should. Especially the ones that are bred and raised for this purpose. If they are not even kind of near the extinction list (like on the other side of the room, such as cows, chickens, pigs, buffalo.....to name a few) and they are tasty, that much the better. That is the benefit of being at the top of the food chain. I do NOT agree with poaching or the killing of endangered animals and I'm not a fan of killing for sport (however if you eat the meat, then it's okay). And killing for fashion such as mink - well that's kind of tough as mink are over-grown rodents in my mind.

do you read the Bible ? animals was put n earth for food work and to cloth us If we didnt keep the animal population at a standered we"d be over run with them then theyed eat all the food here for them and theyed starve ? which would be the best killing them out right for food or letting them go getting to many of them n they starve

Why not it's what they were meant for. Although I don't think we should kill them strictly for one thing or the other. If we kill a cow it should be for the meat and to make a belt for instants. To kill a cow just for the fashion just seems like a waste of a life.

no that is wrong and cruel animals should not be killed for their skin and for food. And when I say this I'm assuming you are talking about dogs and cats and foxes and those kinds of animals not chickens pigs and cows. I happen to like chicken.

Um, yeah. That's part of being on top of the food chain. We're animals, like it or not. We smell like animals, we breathe oxigen like animals, we eat like animals, we drink like animals, we play and live like animals, we are born like animals, we reproduce like animals, we die like animals: we're animals. Part of being an animal is fitting in on the food chain.
