You never forget. You can't "fall out of love." You just have to try to find other ways to cope and move on. Time is the only thing that really heals. Just keep reminding yourself that "it won't mean a thing in a hundred years." Even after some time, you'll get some flashback moments that may stir up feelings, but it won't be as intense. It just hurts, but you will eventually feel better. Good luck!

Tough question ~ I am sure you will get plenty of responses w/ ways to make the memories/thoughts go away... but unfortunately, time is the only source of forgetting. Don't allow yourself to feel guilty. Relationships have to work two ways. In the meantime, keep yourself busy. Take care.

You can't forget this person if you really love them, however you must let go. Lose all the reminders of this person, pictures, ticket stubs, clothes whatever you have that reminds you of them. Also don't call that persons phone to hear their voice or replay old messgs left by them. Don't sit around go places meet people have fun, live life and don't look back. Good Luck!

I don't think u can "forget" but the pain will go away eventually. Just keep yourself busy,& hang out with people who uplift u. If ur anything like me, you'll wallow in ur misery, don't do that. U dont have 2 b in a relationship just yet, but go on the dating scene

Not sure you can forget at all, let alone right away. Just concentrate on yourself, doing stuff you like to do. Keep yourself busy, go out with friends, but don't jump into another relationship for awhile.

I know this one.. I'm in the same friggin' sitch right now. I got involved w/an asshole (lives across town.. lucky me..) who dumped me/quit writin' me dead. I find tho.. think the worse possible **** ya can about this broad! It'll work. Hell, make it up if ya have to.. (her feet stink? her sox.. hell, everything stinks on her..) I find after it's all 'over' you tend to remember the 'lovey dovey' ****.. It wasn't really all that damn great, but we all tend to overglamorize when it's done. You do this enuff it'll sink in.. you'll be less miserable. (Hell, she might be out partying right now.. w/your best friend!.. there.. that idea ought to help you along donw the road of hate.. lol) Hate? kills love quicker'n scat, man. Don't be friends either.. (I don't know who thought that bullshit up, the "let's be friends".. but it's dog-doo, man.) G'luck.. (wink) melancholia

Mens Health mag. says, that you should get rid of all pictures and don't listen to any music that would remind you of her. Also try to hang out with Your friends and occupy your day away from her.
