I'm a Tomboy and people are always asking me..."Why won't you wear Makeup"? Or "Why do you wear those clothes"? It Drives me crazy. I am just seeing what you think. What are your ideas about this? Are you a Tomboy if you are a girl? Thanks for your Input :)

I've always been a tomboy, just now I can be girly too. Its easy to balance, just find what you're comfortable with. Girls get annoyed sometimes because guys usually find it easier to hang out with tomboys than with a real prissy girl. Be who you want to be, and next time someone asks you why you dont wear makeup, ask them why they do. Or just say that you, unlike they, dont need it. That one pisses em off a bit... lol.

I was a tomboy until age 14. (34 now-geesh) lets face it. guys clothes are much more comfy than girls. I dress girly now, but you will still catch me in carpenter jeans and a t shirt with nikes. cant help it. I have always loved make up so that is something even as a tomboy I did. I think comfort is a lot of it. was for me!

Some people cannot accept something out of the norm. My sister was a Tomboy but grew out of it when she found her soulmate. She is married but still poses the Tomboy characteristics. We accepted her but I always encourage her to wear make up to look better....now I stopped because no matter what I say she will always be what she is today.
So just ignore them or challenge them. Tell them it's ur choice or tell them why don't they wear more make up themselves.
True friends will accept you as you are & will not pursue asking what you do not desire.

I've got no problem with tomboys. I had a great tomboy friend when I was younger.
I KNOW that she definitely turned out to be a great woman.
What the hell, I know she had alot of fun building treehouses and stuff. Alot more fun than those girls that would stay inside the house all day.
Be a tomboy - be yourself! To hell with them if they "can't take a joke".

I'm a total Girly-girl, but I always wished I was a tomboy. I wish I was comfortable enough with myself to wear no makeup. I think your really cool.

so what? its sooo much fun to be a tomboy! i dont wear any make-up, and i don't care if people ask why not. most people say i don't need it anhyway. and guys clothes can be really cool too, and more comfortable. make the guys wear heels, and skirts for a day
but its really fun to be all-out-girly-girl sometimes too.

I used to be a big TB, i never wanted to wear makeup, i hated Barbie (still do)
but then I realized i was doing that stuff to get the guys to c me and think i was "cool like them" or whtevr. i grew out of it, some grls never do. as long as u make sure ppl know ur a grl, (not a les or anything, that's sick) be the best TB u can B!

I think it depends upon where you live. I don't worry about how I look mostly day to day but sometimes I put on make up & do my hair, dress in something sexy , people do notice that. But I never get any negative comments when I'm not made up. It probably is just the surroundings or the people your surrounding yourself with. Ask them why they think it's so important to dress up & try to impress people that don't give a crap about them when they say something to you.

I see nothing wrong with being a tom boy, I was one myself. I turned out just fine! In fact I think I can communicate with men better than my friends who aren't or never were tom boys!

i make myself a tom-boy in the way that i am the guys-girl. it totally turns the guys on. and now i just want to be their friend, and this is the best way, because the most popular girl in school, is the one that the guys are most obsessed with. so listen close to all of my secrets. tom-boys are soo hot. make sure, you look good in your clothes. tom-boy-ness is a mood. like my many, and you cant always be in one mood. then we wouldn't be moody. and what kind of girl isn't moody. 9i mean in a good way. haha. so dont be a loser. be like me! mwahh
