I hate all of you for hating anime.

Anime, like any form of expression, has a range of quality from outstanding to nauseating. InuYasha, for instance, is well drawn, avoids most distortion and has stories that move along well. The various Dragonball series, while fun and containing interesting characters and situations, drag on into repetetiveness. Pokemon is rather like the latter, too, and its merchandising tie-in is all too obvious. Might as well put it out in the open, as Yu-Gi-Oh does.
American stabs at anime, like Teen TItans, tend to exaggerate and I find such cartoons repulsive.
I guess it's all a matter of whether you prefer Cowboy Bebop or Hamtaro. I prefer the former.
American animation also has its high and low points. Don't ask me why I like Futurama and hate Family Guy, or like the Powerpuff GIrls and despise Ed, Edd and Eddy. It's taste, and I can't really explain it.

I love anime, it's awesome. I think a lot them has meanings in life. Like Fruits Basket, it talks about the rejection of people and the hardships people face. A lot of animes teaches people lesson too, I wonder why you can get tired of them, but everyone has different opinion, right? ^ ___ ^

I used to like it a while ago along with the manga books. I really only like Trigun and Cowboy Bebop besides that yes! Especially like Yu Gi Oh and that stuff!

i hate some anime and i like some other anime... it's not all the same. Also, some anime can seem really cool in its native japanese but seem really dinky in english thanks to bad dubbing.
Myself, I'm a die-hard fan of the anime Ghost In The Shell.
(i love these dipsh!ts who don't even say WHY they don't like anime. I ALSO LOVE THE IRONY IN SAYING YOU HATE ANIME BUT USING AN ANIME-STYLED PROFILE PICTURE.)

i don't like it one bit. too much violence and sexuality. don't want my 3 yr old son watching it. What gets me is they show it on local channels and on cartoon network which is supposed to be for kids, when it is actually made for adults in japan not children. What ever happened to bugs bunny and Wil e Coyote, when they got smashed by a safe they bounced back like an accordion. they never died. no blood. and the only sexy things you had was bugs in a viking outfit playing with Elmer FUDs mind. not like anime Sailor moon for instance practically has no clothes on

It's not anime I hate is the 18 and older fans who are into that stuff. GROW UP. IT'S FOR KIDS.

but some GOOD anime is really quite startling to watch
