I'm 15 and weigh 150 pounds, and i get my heart rate at 200 a lot, is that normal!!??

I'm afaird that maybe it's a heart condition or something, tell me what you think

ughhh, it's when i work out, when i just jog a little it's 160 but when i run for a while or faster it goes up to 200..

age and weight are ok, you do need to see a doctor about the heart rate it is too high. It may not be a "heart condition" per se, do you get anxiety attacks, and chronically check your pulse? Either way, you need to be seen by a doctor. Normal pulse rate is around 80 bpm.

but when you say you get your heart rate at 200 is that with exercise??? if so you are working too hard (220-15=205) 205 should be your max heart rate. and you should work out at 60-80 % of that


HOWEVER IF THIS IS AT REST OR WITH MINIMAL ACTIVITY--TELL YOUR PARENTS NOW, IT COULD BE THE SIGN OF SOMETHING SERIOUS.

How tall are you to go along with that weight? And yes, you may well have a heart condition though you are a bit young for it.

Better safe than sorry, though: Talk to your parents and to a doctor about this.

that is a little fast if it is not when exercising

is it when you are anxious?

get yourself checked out by a doctor but dont worry too much

i know what ur doing. when you count ur heartbeat with your hand it goes out then in(the heart) like tick tock. tick as out then tock as in. tick tock is one heart beat. Dont count it when it goes out and in. And if your heartrate was that high. Im sure you wouldnt be hear with us.
