I was wondering if Smiley Central was OK to download or does it infect your computer with viruses. Someone told me not to download it because MyWebSearch downloads with it and that MyWebSearch has viruses or Ad-ware. Does anyone know if it's safe or not?

I have, once, on my old computer. The thing was so broken. I'm not sure if Smiley Central caused this or not, but it sure didn't help the accursed thing. Anyway, Smiley Central is apparently made by Ask Jeeves, an older web search service which I have no problem with. Smiley Central also has some User-Created Smileys. Some of these have been said to be viruses. My advice is to not download it at all.

I don't think it'll give you a virus, but if you download that you automatically download spywear with it. (I've downloaded it before, I wiped it pretty quickly afterwards).

yeah it gives you viruses. i wouldn't download it.
