I don't think the industry is trying to make Ciara the next Aaliyah. I like Ciara as an artist but I don't think that she has very strong vocals. Matter fact every time I've ever heard her sing live her voice sounds shaky and weak. She can dance though and I like the way she sounds recorded.

i dont think they are trying to make her the next aaliyah, thats like them saying that they were making aaliyah the next mary j blige and blah, blah, blah. ciarra is ciarra, she's a good singer and a good dancer, she is talented, so was aaliyah, people need to stop analyzing the industry and just enjoy the f'ing music, if people dont like a certain artist, then dont listen to them, people need to stop trying to compare everyone to everyone else. thats like labeling a group as sell outs just because people like them, thats why people go into the business, the love of the art, money, and adoration of fans.

No she just got that "Aaliyah" quality about her. She can dance and sing. They are both tall, long hair, skinny, wear pants and short tops, both had Missy on their songs,........Maybe you might be on to something.

yes bcaz when i see da SO WHAT video i waz like o no she aint tryna look like Aaliyah.(da long black herr....ya know dats weaveable)so anyway i think that she really trying tooo hard to b like Aaliyah and it aint workin.
