Not all, but most ....I think because looks is on of the biggest part of their work...have you heard the phrase? 'You don't have to be, but you have to look like you are'...or those ridiculous advertising at sale's store..."you don't have to be a millionaire to look like one"..my point is, those celebrities, whom become beauty icon, usually is just that, just what you see, they are not singers or actors, they are good looking people pretending being singers and actors, and while people get busy or alienated by their beauty and production, they don't worry about if they are talented or not. Shake this Shake that is what comes to count.
It's incomparable an actor like Antony Hopkins with, let's say Tom Cruise...I know there are age differences there, but since we are talking about celebrities, I don't think age is the matter, because its very no probable that Tom Cruise, become as good as Anthony even after working in the movie industries as much as Anthony Hopkins worked and still working...We can use Edward Norton too as another example. What about Pamela Anderson and Hally Barry? or Meryl Strip (spelling)?...Got it?
What about those so called Diva?...and Byonce? (spell).
PS: I know that is sometimes is matter of taste or bad taste.

I know. I've thought about it myself. Michael Jordan wasn't a looker until he had money, neither was Shaquille O'Neil. But after the expensive suits, manicures, pedicures and facials, clothes do make the man! They look great now, but they do spend a lot on what it takes to look that way. Wheras before, they didn't have the resources to do so.
