there can be many different reasons why people like soccer so much. i play soccer && i like it because i can kick a soccer ball around almost anywhere && it relaxes me. i also like soccer because it takes time && effort to learn new tecniques, and i am more than willing to take the time to learn. i love getting on the field and fighting with all i have && the feeling of accomplishment is outstanding. My fav. part is pushing && being aggressive!

The sport has been around for a while. FIFA was started in 1904. Soccer is over 100 years old. The world cup has helped promote the sport tremendously allowing every country to tryout to qualify for the world cup, which is probably among the most famous cup of all sports in the world.

It's about adrenaline, excitement , anticipation. There is just something magickal about the culmination of all these things. The air surrounding the game is sweeter, the sounds crisper. Life is better because of Football.

in case you didnt know.........that is the biggest international sport. just because its not the most popular here in america doesnt mean that it should be looked bad upon or questioned in a bad way. its like a german saying, why do u americans like cheesburgers??? we just do. and ppl like soccer just because. thats the main sport in that country. also......its a chance for athletes to represent their country..............and all the fans root for their country.....some ppl dont even like soccer that much but when their country is playing.......they love it!~

It's very active and it gets you moving! The feeling of just kicking that ball into someone's shin and not having any bad thing happen to you is so awesome! You can do practically anything to the ball! (Except pick it up! :-D)

Cuz the sport is the best! Beats baceball and football and basketball any friggin day of the week...month...year...ect. Its just as much fun to play!
