yes. some places have that capability some don't. ask before authorizing anything about that.

You sure can. My boyfriend is a mechanic. You can get a print out and review it and take time to think about the decision you want to make. You don't have to take their word for it and do something RIGHT THEN. Don't let the mechanics pressure you into something you're not sure about and don't have proof of.

yes but ask to make sure they can i have been told they can't and i just don't go to them if i pay for the diagnostic i want a printout so i can get price quotes

you can but most shops liek the ones that i worked at were to cheep to get the printer but they can still give you the codes and you can take it anywherer to get fixed
