yeah Garden of the Gods. Red Rocks. Royal Gorge. Pike's Peak. Lovely places all. Of course the Air Force Academy is there too. Many mines to check out. Coors brewery in Golden.
You'll never forget Royal Gorge. I haven't.

The only ding I have against Colorado Springs was being panhandled in one of the malls by well dressed women.

Go visit "Garden of the Gods" . It's an awsome place to just walk around.
