Well... lets go back to elementary school psycology... You know that pretty girl that always gets the A+ on all her papers in class? Thats america... I'm not saying she's perfect, always getting A's... but, she's usually proud when she gets an A+ and is usually showing off her grades...(like how we aid other countries or boast on all of our positives, which is NOT a bad thing which however is usually percieved as so) anyway... why did we always hate that girl, and always think shes snooty...because were jealous, even if she was snooty.. shes a person too... and thats America... leave us alone, were a country with problems too, we just choose to help out a bit and it gets shoved in our face!!!!

It's true, many people hate the USA, but I don't. I can't see the reasons for hating Americans and the policy of the states. Regarding Iraq, that's only Bush's philosophy but not the philosophy of all the Americans. Moreover, United States takes the leading positions in various spheres in foreign policy, but a great deal of people consider its policy and actions at the international scene violent and not beneficient, why? But let's face the facts:the state of living in the US is much better than in any Asian countries; many humans leave their own motherlands for states as they are looking for comfort, liberty, rights and ability to work in the state which point of view has, is and will be taken into consideration when something crucial is being discussed among foreign countries. Why should the world blame America? For what? For its endeavour for the better? I always loved America and will DO!

I KNOW why so many people hate your country.
1) they are jealous of your power and influence
2) you do help people, but a great deal of the time you use that power and influence to manipulate other governments and peoples to your best interests. This has been done a multitude of times. Example - Saddam was left alone until he invaded Kuwait and threatened your oil even after he killed all those Kurds. You've stuck your nose in just about every South American countries business too.
3) you all are percieved as arrogant

poor child, go READ books, there is no world conpiracy against the US it is the other way round. Wc country has waged more than five wars in the last decade, wc co has tested chemicals on minorities, infected people with viruses, exploited third world countries. If your neighbour does not like u don't go into his house and kill him, no just leave him alone, if the us does not like Iraq, Iran, Korea, Russia, Afganistan, Zimbabwe, Libya, China, Cuba. Just leave them alone don't go there thats the solution and i think they want the same thing too. The real truth is that every war is economic, whether with a spear or an atomic bomb. Live and let live

Jen, I view your question and answer from long-past experience.
When I was about 12 years old, I had a classmate that I hated. He was a well clothed "Little Lord Fontelroy" in appearance. Thirty years later,I met him again and realized he, himself, was rhe same, a real nice guy. Days later, in rethinking my relationship with him, I realized that envy was the basis for my hate.
Because of my own self-analysis, I conclude that much of the hate of foreigners is merely envy, a common human ailment.
Yes, our actions deserve more credit, but human emotions and characteristics remain the same.
Don't let it get you down. Remain generous and forgiving.

Granted- communists don't like to admit that it is a failure (doomed to failure from the beginning if you ask me).
But at the same time, when we Americans travel abroad, we tend to come across as arrogant. "When in Rome..." but we don't. We even expect evereyone else to speak English... (remind me- got a joke about this..)
I think our political policies are seen as kind of arrogant as well, as if we see ourselves as better than the rest of the world simply because we are the most free.

I know they hate us. We get whatever we want compared to them, and we don't solve their every problem in life.
We work a lot harder, too, though, but no one seems to notice or care about that. We also have a lot of better policies in our culture and government that leads to a higher std. of living, but no one seems to care about that either.

Yes, everyone hates the U.S. They don't mind their own goddamn business and always creates conflict. I also think the world is afraid of them because of their nuclear warheads and shxt.
