Which programme is good to split movie file?

I have one 780mb SVCD movie in mpeg 2 format but can't burn it onto one CD. Which programme is good to split this mpeg file type? Thanks.

Do you Have Adobe Premiere? You can import the MPEG-2 file into the timeline and trim the file into half. The you delete one half and export the timeline in a suitable format. Then you do the same thing again and export the second half of the trimmed file. It's a bit complicated to write everything here. U can e-mail me if u want to know more.
