It's a shame so many racists tried to answer this question because England do have a "chance" to win the cup, but then again so does every single team not currently eliminated.

England have the capacity to win the cup if they can get Owen Hargreaves to play as well in the holding role as he did, and for someone to score some goals!

As for odds, Ladbrooks are currently rating england to win the world cup at 6/1, when considering how they laboured to their group wins, are surprisingly poor odds.

Sven Goran Eriksson has been unfortunate that his gamble has failed and so, though I would give my arm to see England victorious, they will fail to score the goals and lose on penalties in the quarter finals.

Yes!!! I'm betting that England will have a great chance at winning even though the odds of that happening is not in their favor but I prefer to tweak the scale and give them at least a 60% fair chance of getting a "crack" at it. What have they got to lose!! Come on England go for it!!!

I think that England winning the cup is very good possibility. No doubt they will beat Ecuador, but i believe that it is going to be a challenge passing to the semifinals. They will either face the netherlands or Portugal. Two teams that are not to be taken lightly. If they do pass, I think they'll face Spain and in the end Germany.

YES... England -v- Germany in the final. England does not deserve it but that is what FIFA wants. So much referee and FIFA meddling that one day soon nobody trusts the game anymore and it will die the death. The Argentina/Mexico refereeing was classical referee/FIFA helping Argentina win. It makes you laugh... THE STARS OF FOOTBALL ARE NO LONGER THE PLAYERS.. thyey are the referees... self-elected stars.
