I's it unhealthy for your period to last for more that 7 days. How long should it last?

If it's longer than 10 see a Dr. or emergency room. Especially if you have pain.3-5 days is normal.

No as long as the flow seems to be going down, if you have a heavy flow for 7 days then it's unhealthy, normally it lasts from 4-5 days for me

Well, it depends what is normal for you. If it usually lasts 7 days, then i wouldn't worry about it. Every female is different, some have 3 day periods, some have 5 day periods. As long as you feel normal, I wouldn't worry.

I am 37. Mine last 7 days. I am also taking high blood pressure medicine.
Even before I was on the meds, I had long periods.

Your fine, it's if you haven't had your period and you missed it, or if you are still bleeding and it's been longer than 2wks. Than I recommend you go see the doctor and figure out whats wrong with you. Otherwise 7 days is ok, theres nothning wrong with you. So relax, it's just a long sinkin period, I know we all hate it, right? LoL

Mine has last longer but i find that if you use a birth control pill that is low and you aren't sexually active... it made a difference. You might also have cysts on your ovaries and they can cause you to miss a month (which is y I'm on the pill) and it can also increase your period. The pill has shorten the length and I'm regular now.

my wife's last at least 7 days minimum, up to 10. It is what it is.
