I am recently separated and soon to be divorced. I have been out of tha dating seen for 15 years. MY SENARIO: I was invited out by someone I knew. Actually just to have a drink or 2. Nothing more. Once I got to the bar/grill, I was introduced to her friends. After about an hour, I left for the bathroom and when I returned, she was talking to someone at the bar. No problem on my end, I only went for a drink anyway. She came back about 20 minutes later, while I was talking to her friends that I had just met, to say how cute this guy was. About another hour later the guy goes to the bathroom and stops by our table and she introduces him to all of us, Then she leaves again to go and talk to him at the bar. At which time I told everyone it was nice to meet them and left. MY QUESTION, Why did she invite me if she was going to ignore me?

I really didnt go with any intentions. I thought it rude that I was left to talk with 2 couples that I had met an hour before.
Again
Thank you for your answers.

If she does want to be with you, she doesnt deserve you. My guess is that she had no intention of that happening. Maybe she just wanted to get you out and socializing again, if she's a good friend. All I can say is, dont sweat it. The right lady will come along.
Good Luck!

If she knows that your soon gonna B divorced, she was probably trying 2 b nice. People can do nice things without an agenda cant they? She maybe just wanted 2 help put u on the dating scene. It worked didn't it? If u like her then thats ur problem. Maybe u should try working on ur marriage.

Question--what does the divorce have to do with the bar outing? In anycase, maybe the female thinks of you as just a friend, in that case she just wanted to get you out of the house and let you have fun and mingle with others.... If she does like you then maybe she is just a social butterfly and thought you were having fun?

Maybe she just invited you as a friend and either she wasn't interested in you or she thought that you weren't interested in her. Either way she probably thought that it was okay to spend most of her time with that guy because she thought that you were having a good time with her friends.

Exactly what she said -- JUST TO HAVE A DRINK OR 2! I think you read too much into it. She probably knows what you are going through and wanted you to have some fun instead of sitting at home alone, you took it and ran with it thinking she wanted more.
~ Slow down dude, don't read too much into things.

I'm a woman and I don't know why.I guess I'd have to meet her and find out how she works, you know what makes her tick.I do realize now she doesn't have good manners.Sorry for you but I know myself it's not easy to get back in the dating scene.

I think she wanted you to meet someone-like maybe one of her friends. Helloooo! She may have been seeing if any of them were interested in you. Did you find any of them attractive? If you did, ask her what she thinks about you getting to know her friend a little better. She will definitely know already what her friends think of you.

Perhaps she's just rude. I'm thinking she just wanted attention of any kind she could receive.
