Absolutely, because that would have meant that I was very smart (when actually I am just of average intelligence) and that I either could have afforded the tuition or had scholarships. (Which I couldn't and didn't).

I think you meant accepted instead of excepted and I am am not sure what "would of you went" means. I doubt if you will be accepted at Harvard.
