As someone who wrote earlier said, the key is the word "illegal". That means simply, non-legal....or against the law. We have laws on the books. Deportation is what happens as a consequence of breaking the law. We are a nation of immigrants; therefore, we are very diverse. The only things that hold us together are our Constitution and our laws. They were written for a purpose; and we accepted them as good for our country's growth in an orderly manner. They help us to live together, although diverse.

Not to follow our laws regarding immigration is a slap in the face to those who have worked so hard to become citizens. We welcome immigrants who follow our laws..

i don't think sending all illegal immiigrants back to their country is the way foward. I believe thoose who have commited crimes, promoted violence , used drugs or not pay taxes slhd be deported Bu what abt thoose who've been living in the us for decades. those who've payed taxes, those who've wored in teh fields, in teh fcatories, as garbage collectors and pay taxes, afterall they slhdn' be sent back-i think it;'s onyl fait that they sould be allowed to say in the US. I think we should surround the United States in a steel and concrete wall, ten feet deep in the ground and over thirty feet high. Electrical charge it with 700,000 volts. Every five or six miles, place a gap int he wall about three-four feet wide, and on the US side, place about seventy land-mines on the other side.
