Are children under 13 allowed to serve alcoholic bev. to the elderly?Should they 13 yr olds be allowed to unload washers,and dryers in the laundry area at work?

No, and No
You must be 21 to serve alcoholic beverages, and children yes children cannot handle the industrial machines at nursing homes, they aren't your garden variety Maytags.

I will tell you what I know. Children have to be 14 in Baltimore, MD to volunteer in a hospital or nursing home.

9 hrs per day is to much time volunteering 3 x's per week. I think I'd encourage them to work (volunteer) less and concentrate on education more.
