I suspect you're going to be out of luck - my supplier has no such converter. Parallel printer to USB - easy!
If your PC has USB, just none spare, then a (powered) usb hub would provide an inexpensive solution.
If your PC has a spare PCI slot, then fitting a USB card would be easy.
No usb and no slots, then a possible solution (not cheap) which might work... A print server, or a router with a built in print server. This presupposes that you have a network connection.
I must confess I would want reassurance from the supplier that the particular printer was supported...

Just because USB stands for universal serial bus doesn't mean that it is actually a serial port - the two things are totally different and completely incompatible. You can get a USB to parallel adapter and connect your USB printer to a parallel port but you would be better off installing a USB card and connect directly - it will print faster.

don't you mean usb to Parallel? serial isn't a duplex interface. there are Parallel printer to usb cables, but i don't think there are usb printrt to either serial or Parallel cables
