you think about the first half of the flight as training...
the second part as movie time
the third part in 15 minute intervals.."only 15 more mins." repeat.
as far as food...pack some snacks and call before you leave to request a specific genre of food given to you...
as far as beauty...wear as little make up or none...so it doesn't like down your face into the guys next to your seats lap...and bring some wet pad facial cleaner...
hair...try to have it done prior to you even leaving your house and keep your hands out of it!
for some reason the recycled airline air puffs out a toxic oil that seeps into your hair and skin...
pace the plane a few times so you don't get crampy..and...wear comfortable clothing...also, if you want, take benedryl, it will help clear your sinuses and may put you to sleep so you can sleep through some of the flight! Drop some dough on noise reducer headphones...you will be happy that you did! sound doesn't seem like such a big deal, but on that long of a flight, your money will be well spent!!!
Where are you going anyway?

Make sure you drink a lot of water 'cuz you'll get dehydrated if you don't. I was in Target last week, looked in the luggage isle, and saw they have some travel comfort items like a little neck pillow. So check that out if you're near a Target. Get a portable dvd player with extra batteries and some movies, a good book, crosswords, Sudoko puzzles. Sleep if you can. Don't wear anything that binds your legs, like jeans. God speed on your trip and have fun.

On a 14 hr flight you will get a meal and be able to watch a movie or tv. bring gum to chew to prevent your ears from popping. Also bring a walkman/ipod/mp3 player and bring magazines/ a book so you have something to read if you dont want to watch tv. Also bring a neck pillow and a little blanket so you can take a nap. Bring snacks too like pretzels/chips/ and a water.

Wear the comfiest clothes you own, bring something with that brings your comfort. Bring some sort of music. If you want to read a book, but havent gotten to it, bring it....now you will have time. Bring some paper, to doodle, write, or anything....if you have a computer, that would be good too...they do allow those, dont they? and if your into religion, bring a bible

take sleeping pills!!!! or bring a lap top... but if you don`t have one.. go with knocking yourself out with sleeping pills. better to be rested when you get overseas than exhausted wanting to sleep.
