tell them that they cant have a party this year but plan a suprise party. hook up with their best friend to find out who to invite and how to get them invatations without giving it away. have the best friend tell you the best thing to do for the party and do it all. also if they dont already have one i would give them a cell phone. thats what i would love for a birhtday party and i am 13.

hotel party, manicure, pedicure, shopping and outfit (girls day) this is what i did for my 13 year old, she loved it.
