Probably but to be honest,who cares? The important thing to know is that Argentina moves on and Mexico is going home. Everything else is meaningless.

It depends on the angle, it might have looked like an own goal but Crespo did touch the ball, he should get the credit.

The camera angle from the back shows it was Crespo goal indeed. From the side it looked like its an own goal.

It seem they took 7 minutes analizing that goal, and finally decide to give to Crespo, if you look closely you see it was an own goal.

photos show that Crespo did get his foot on it and so is correctly credited with the goal
