they are paid ok,,, all government pay scales are public knowledge. You can probably try the OPM.gov web site for a pay scale.
We gov't workers are not init for the money,, we are in it so that we can sleep at night.

Depends on where they are working. Each agent gets locality pay which will vary based on that areas cost of living.
I believe the starting salary with no prior federal gov experience is around 37k base before locality pay.
These are rough numbers.

About $45K/yr. It depends on where they live for cost of living adjustments, but that's about what they make.
