I have to go to this Gala, since I'm a sixth grader and I need major help on everything! Clothes, makeup, hair, accessories, jewelry, nails, purses, EVERYTHING!

Clothes: find a nice dress, nothing flashy, nothing too revealing. Just something right for your age.
No makeup needed. At your age, just wash your face well and put on a little pressed powder for a fresh look. If you REALLY want to wear something, use a little pink on your lids and a little pink lipgloss to make your smile shine.
Perfume: use just a dab of something soft, like Thierry Mugler's Angel.
Hair: either curl the whole thing and pull the curls up on top of your head, or pull it back into a soft French twist and hold in place with a pretty hair comb.
Accessories: One nice little necklace or a strand of pearls would be just perfect. Don't overdo it. Galas are to show off your clothes and make you look pretty on your own. If you pull your hair back, you could use a nice hair comb to hold it in place. If you have pierced ears, just wear simple crystal studs.
Nails: clean and a light coat of pink nail polish.
Purse: something small that matches your shoes or dress in style.
Shoes: a simple low pump would be nicely grown up but still very comfortable.
Most of all, make sure you're comfortable and that you use your best manners with the adults around you. Nothing is nicer at a gala than to see a mature, respectful young person who is enjoying herself and showing how nicely she's growing up.

I think a light color or peachy color goes really well with tan skin and dark hair. A dress would be really good something pretty but not overly fancy. A skirt would also be good, knee length, with a nice blouse to match, also as i said before light colors. I think a skirt with a flowery pattern and a plain blouse would be best, and as for shoes a little heel if you can handle it would look best. DO NOT wear flip flops SOO tacky. If heels are too much too handle a wedge heel is very cute yet comfortable, or some flats with some sort of beadind or detail on it dress the out fit up a little. As for make up I think a young girl like you probably has beautiful skin, so show it off don't cover it with foundation, something very natural and if you want to even out your skin tone, maybe some powder. Again very natural, some mascara, and maybe some light eye shadow or brown eyeliner is nice. If your parents allow makeup that would look really nice. And for your lips, clear or light lip gloss, I'm 21 and I still wear lip smackers so I would go with that. Accesories- don't go all out less is more. A black dress and some white sandals with a white beaded necklace and some white hoop earrings. A small white clutch instead of a big purse. layer your hair and flip the ends then put a white headband in the front. Since you are only in the sixth grade just a little bit of light lipgloss will do for makeup. If you want to smell nice, spray a small amount of light perfume on your wrist and neck.

okya i would probally wear a cute skirt like pink or something maybe jean ... shirt would probally wear something white it could be any white shirt
makeup all u really need is a bit of eyeliner on the bottom and top lid and maybe mascara on the top lashes only .. eyeshadow a shade that matches your color clothing but not exactly the same
wear it down curly or strait
just a silver pair of earrings should do u never want to over accesorize
lets see go with a french manicure for your nails or either a nude color
purses a white or spring like one

You need to wear a long dress. What is your favorite color? Go for something light Also, what are you going to do with yoru hair? I always love to put my ahir up in a frechen twist for the summer so it is off my neck and face. Shoes wear sandles. Purce get something small black is always good, white too. Nails paint them or get them done. dont go with a crazy bright color. go with something girly and light. make up dont do anything you will not do on a normal day. Be yourself and just have fun

you're young so you don't have to go the whole "little black dress" route, but i would suggest that find a nice cocktail dress in a simple color that you can dress up or dress down in the future. i'm going to suggest that you stay away from tacky department store dresses that they make in a variety of colors, and go to a boutique where you can find a nice dress for a reasonable price. Gia & Co would be perfect if you have one near you. everything else will fall into place.

well wear a nice skirt and blouse any color/ light makeup like a rose color and rose nail polish / and a nice neckless and matching ear rings / a nice pair of dress shoes / a purse that will match your outfit / now your hair put it up and you will look so nice and wrap a ribbon around your hair that will set it of well have a wonderful time i know i will i am all so going i cant waite

u can wear anything in a coral/peachy color. i would opt for a simple dress or even a dressy blouse with a dark skirt/pants
