would you be able to do this with the governments help.. please explain

There are two types of success. Internal and External. Internal success deals with self fulfillment, inner peace and satisfaction with your self.

External success has to due with wealth and social status. This is what most Americans think it should be measured by.

Success is not a constant. For one person it may be Graduating college and getting a career in a fortune 500 company. For another it may be having a loving family.
To me, being successful in America means living, working, and playing to your fullest. As long as you are happy, you lead a successful life.

The American Dream is associated with having a nice house, a white picket fence, one breadwinner in the household, and 2.5 children (2 or 3 for those not so bright people).

Having a job that you love and making a livable wage doing it. The government rarely can help you be successful.

Being succesful in America can mean whatever you want it to mean. Whatever you want to do with your life, (provided it's legal), you can do if you're willing to work for it. And yes, it is possible to do it without government aid, but like I said, you have to work for it. Nothing worthwhile comes easy.
