you live in LA so it should be no problem, if you dont want to hire an agent, check the newpapers for open casting calls for child parts and just take him there........

It depends on where you live. If you live somewhere where there is no open auditions then you need an agent. They find auditions for you to go to. If you live somwhere like LA or somewhere where there is lots of auditions you can just watch the paper or it is still a good idea to find an agent.

Send his headshots to agencies in LA. Or try to market him yourself using www.breakdownexpress.com (which is a site most agencies use. You do have to pay though).
I high suggest the Abrahms Agency, which has a LARGE childrens department.

You have to find an L.A. agent that represents kids.
Most agencies only represent adults.

are you doing this for your child or do you have your own motives. if your child wants this life (and it is hard on them later) then by all means but if you are pushing them into this they may hate you for it later. is it worth your relantionship with your child?
